Mak Muang, Quarrels and a Swollen Toe...

I didn't really had a bad backpacking trip. I worked within my budget (not including the extra cash I changed to buy presents for myself).

It's pretty good to visit Malaysia and Bangkok after Xmas because of the post Xmas sale. I got myself a nice shirt from Zara (got sale lah) and this black cardigan (something which I've been eyeing for a long time) from Seed. Initially, I wanted to get my cardigan from Topman but seems like everyone's wearing it on the streets so it'd be better if I got it elsewhere. There was no discount for my cardigan but I still got it anywhere because it's cheaper, nicer than what Topman's offering.

The only thing I hope was that Singapore isn't selling it at a lower price than mine. And I doubt so.

Lokie was saying how my Zara shirt resembles the cowboy shirts. Hmm, I'm not doing any Brokeback Mountain anymore and I really loved the green checks. If you people do notice, I'm loving the green color. Gone was my favorite brown color.

I'm kind of tired today so I won't be blogging much. I'd probably detail about my trip after 2006. I'm sure Kevin would want to know what happened with me, Lokie and Fat Fart.

I love Thai mangoes (or mak muang which is what the locals called but I'm not sure if spelling's correct). We went around looking for mango with sticky rice and we found one stall selling it outside our youth hostel. I tell you, we ordered two packets of the dessert and I finished the mangoes but not the sticky rice. I just want the mangoes only because they are freakingly sweet.

I got into a quarrel with Fat Fart and so did Lokie. On our final day which was in KL, me and Lokie splitted with Fat Fart to go shopping. The hours without Fat Fart is good because there are no food restrictions (he insisted on roadside food all the way) and I almost choked to death with 7 huge beef meatballs (2 were contributed by Lokie) in my spaghetti. It's a pity we didn't have room for desserts and we were rushing for time. Anyway, Fat Fart was irritating us for the whole trip. Although he's a nice friend but being bitches and Kevin would want to know what happen, I'd blog it down in my next entry.

I don't know how it happen but I got a toe infection. It actually happened on Xmas eve but I ignored the slight pain. It was until the 2nd day of Bangkok, my toe was swollen and weeping pus and blood fluid. I know it's gross but now I'm constantly washing it with antiseptic lotion and applying cream to the wound. I think I trimmed too much of my toe nail before I left for my trip.

Anyway, let's hope the swelling subside soon because it just hurts when I walk. Damn...

2006 coming's to an end. I'm not making any resolutions because I think it's a stupid idea. Argh, I need sleep badly so goodnight everybody!!!
