I've been thinking of when should I start typing my FYP report. I've been hearing this common sentence from friends whom already graduated from school - "By Dec, you should actually get 70% of your FYP completed."
Even if my peers asked me how much have I done, I really can't answer. I really envy those whose FYP is just doing simulation on their computer.
Let's just digress from the shitifying (shi - ti - fy - ing) FYP shall we?
While I was taking the train to Clarke Quay on saturday, I encountered two situations. First, this lady walked past me and stood at the sliding door. I was sitting at the 2 - seater seats and my carriage was just half empty. Suddenly she stuck out her middle finger and mouthed out "chee bye". I don't know who the hell she's scolding but she seems really pissed of. Probably someone offended her in the adjacent carriage.
The second one happened while I was taking the north east line to clarke quay. This chinese man wanted to get a dollar coin from a bangla because he had no money to take a bus. The bangla refused to give him any money and the next thing he did was to shame the chinese man. The chinese guy then gave a pathetic look. I thought the bangla was done with the shaming but he persisted further by asking the man to give me a ten dollar then in exchange for a coin.
It's really funny seeing a bangla shaming the chinese man. Normally, if a stranger asks me for money, I'd just reject him and ignore him. I wouldn't go to the extent of saying hurtful words to him in public.
It's just a dollar, need the bangla do that?
