Embracing Perfection
I won't blog much about work. I simply love my job.
Reasons are:
- Getting an engineering pay but not doing engineering related stuff.
- Having a 5 - day work week.
- Learning a lot of stuffs which school can never provide.
- No standard dress code but I keep Thursdays and Fridays as dress down days.
- The opportunity to travel out of Singapore even just for meetings.
- The opportunity to be stationed in Western countries for long time(free travel and accomodation).
- Not dealing with any disgusting semi - conductor stuff but instead with polymers and injection molding.
- No competition to climb to the top because I'm the youngest in my department.
I like my job so far and have no thoughts of wanting to leave yet. Some people work hard for the money but they dislike their job. On the other hand, I'm working hard but I'm seeing satisfaction in my job. No doubt there are some ups and downs, I see my joy rather than upsets.
I'm learning to be perfect in my job and also my life. As I wrap up my 25th birthday, I got myself inked again. I named it "Embracing Perfection". Since I'm born on 10th Oct, I'm supposed to be perfect but I'm not. I will strive for perfection.
