$$$
I think it feels good not working and yet money comes in to your bank account regularly. Too bad, I'm not born with the silver spoon in my mouth. I'm not rich and I can't command money to come to my hands just like that.
And so why is everyone thinking I'm loaded and I don't need to work to enjoy myself. I wish I can say "I'm fucking rich" provided my Dad's earning a 5 figure sum salary a month and I live in Bukit Timah or Sixth Avenue area.
Apparently not. I can only say "I'm a spoiled brat."
I know I'm not trying hard enough to look for a job. But seriously my only expectation is that at least do give me 2.6 to 2.7K a month. As reported in the newspapers, NTU graduates are earning an average of 3k a month provided they have attended the Global Immersion Programme.
Let's keep my fingers crossed and I landed myself a good job soon. I desperately need money for Great Singapore Sale, my cafe indulgances and Ms Christina Aguilera's concert.
It's steep, paying $348 for top priced tickets. If I'm earning 2.7K, I won't feel the pinch but I'm not working now. That's the difference trying to see $350 bucks going away from my account in a flash.
I've sent out resumes and filled online applications. I want to see my phone ringing and my email flooded with replies asking me to attend an interview. I'm a bit shameless here but seriously I need money to sustain my life. Give me money and I'll continue support local economy instead of spending my money overseas and on online products.
The government is already going to give me money but that's way too little than what they've given last year. Can they up the money a bit more? If they can afford to pay that much last year, how come the amount is so meagre this time?
I need more money!!!
Ok, I'm getting a bit crazy now. I shall stop here and continue praying I land myself a job soon. The next time after landing a job is to sleep with my boss (hopefully to increase my salary).
I caught Priceless and the movie has taught me to be shameless if you want to have a good life.
What about integrity?
How much does integrity worth in our society now?
