Anticipation

Sometimes I wonder why girls love to bring out old topics to nag on. I admit I do whine but it's all for fun. Girls, on the other hand, whine and they just can't stop whinning about the same thing even though it's several days after. It's like past several days and they can still focus on that same topic.

What's the best solution? I'd let the person whine and I don't listen to it. I'd give random replies like "ok, yeah, ets, ..." instead of putting my comments and worsen the whole situation. I think I've come to the point that I won't start any unnecessary tiffs with anyone.

Like recently, my girlfriend has been whinning pretty much lately. I really don't know if it's a girl's thing but they seemed to be very sensitive. Since she had ceased her whines, I think I shouldn't talk about whatever (a couple of school related stuffs) happened.

I think the key to a healthy relationship involves a lot of understanding and communication. That's is why I decided to let her vent her frustration first before finding a right time to talk and understand what's really going on.

Anyway, I didn't get to have any cakes yesterday. There are two reasons:

• Kevin got the venue wrong and it's not his fault
• We decided to settle for Bakerzin instead of the one I wanted but it was awfully crowded

Blame it on luck then. I didn't get to have my cakes but I enjoyed the company of my friends. I'm going to try my luck at cakes again with my girlfriend tonight. I hope dessert at this buffet dinner is going to be great.
