Don't Bother

I was pretty much in an insane mood yesterday. It's a weekday so I guess it's a good day to take a walk in town. I could have alighted at Dhoby Ghaut but I stopped at Orchard and walked.

Passing by Cineleisure, I decided to catch "My Summer of Love". It's a film I've been dying to watch but there's only one stupid timeslot. Still I got the ticket because I don't want to regret not seeing it. Afterall, I'm already in town so might as well.

I headed to town because I need to get a present for a friend's baby party. I think it's really boring attending baby parties but well, she's my good friend since secondary school days. No matter what, I still have to make time for it.

I got the baby boy a cute lil' present which I'm not going to disclose here. I passed by the Lego store in Plaza Sing and I don't know what's gotten into me. I bought Lego from the shop. Well, nevertheless, I've bought a toy which I used to like. Yes, I hated when Mr fucked up bought Lego for my birthday. Till now, I haven't even get it from him because I will never do it. I don't like accepting things which I don't like. His Lego and the one I've bought are totally different. I know myself too well so I'll buy the type which I like.

Maybe that's the reason I went to town. I lacked good food after being cooped up at home for so long.

As for him, he grabbed something from the store because he knew I liked Lego. But he grabbed the toy for the sake of the label only.

Anyway, apart from getting present, I've been trying hard to lay my hands on the K610i - mode.

I got the same answer from the Starhub people. They told me not to bother asking around because the warehouse has ran out of stock. They also have no idea when new stocks are arriving. Sigh...

I was thinking maybe it's a hint that I shouldn't be too implusive and switch phones. I'm feeling pretty hungry the whole day so I had 2 meals - one at Thai Express the other at Coffee Club.

I like Thai food but somehow I never liked Thai Express except their iced tea. On top of that, I've always felt that the portion at Thai Express is small. As for Coffee Club (the al fresco one), the honey mustard chicken sandwich is superb. Dining there is ok except I dislike the fans blowing mist over me. Of course, there's always the presence of gay men. There's this "ang moh" with his group of gay friends who keeps looking over.

No matter how fantastic my sandwich was, I was visually violated. Shockingly he smile at me and what can I do? I fake a smile back. Gosh, he really spoiled my late dinner with that smile.

Surprisingly I didn't shop for any clothes yesterday. I did enter some clothes store but I just don't have that urge to buy clothes. I just feel like eating and eating and eating - which I did.
